Responsibilities and duties:
Develop the backend of the production system which is the core product of Ongage.
Provide a support and write features in an interesting and challenging big-data driven system, a cutting edge technology that is continuously processing billions of pieces of information in real-time.
Implement various API integrations with industry's leading Email Service Providers.
Research and solve technical issues raised by customers and working closely with the company's customer support department.
Requirements
A high level of integrity, fast learner and fast coder, yet with a high level of quality, authentic, creative and highly independent.
An ability to provide in-house customer technical support and help in a friendly and caring approach.
Good knowledge and working experience with the following technologies (by order of importance):
Experience in programming with PHP
Experience in OOP
Experience in developing database driven systems using SQL-based databases
Strong Hands-on knowledge of:
PHP
OOP
SQL
Internet communication and protocols
UNIX / Linux environment (Inc. shell scripts)
MongoDB
An ability to design and implement development projects from A to Z, alone or part of the team.
High level of English
Quick learning abilities
Excellent people and intercommunication skills
Highly organized and methodological
