Rescued kitten Stuckey doing better at Humane Society

Stuckey, the small black kitten that was rescued from the eave of a maintenance building at the Indian River fairgrounds last week, is making progress.

While still calling the cat’s prognosis guarded, Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County Outreach Director Ilka Daniel said it’s possible the kitten will be available for adoption once she is cleared by veterinarian Elizabeth Bybee.
