ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

>All Game Testing is done ONSITE at Nintendo-any applicants must be able to commute to the job site located in REDMOND, WA before being eligible to move forward with the screening process.
>Position is not available outside of the job site in Redmond, WA. No at-home or online testing opportunities are offered.
>This a temporary position and will not necessarily lead to a permanent job through Nintendo or within the Testing department.
>The Testing department has a SET schedule that must be adhered to.
>Pay rate is entree level and non-negotiable.
>Aerotek provides benefits, workers compensation and unemployment insurance.
>Perfect attendance and punctuality is CRUCIAL within the department.

ABOUT THE NINTENDO GAME TESTING DEPARTMENT:

>Job is project based and each project will vary in length- you will not get to chose your projects.
>All departments within Nintendo are highly CONFIDENTIAL. Details of your project will not be known until your first day of work.
>Job entails gaming for 8 hours a day- looking for bugs and glitches within the game. Also identifying sound errors, age appropriateness, and spelling/ grammatical errors.
>Each bug found will be written up in a brief but detailed report.

HOURS/PAY-RATE/ATTENDANCE:

>REQUIRED department hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with possible overtime.
>Testers MUST be able to work the required 40 hours a week with minimal absences.
>Contractors with excessive tardiness or missed days will be completed from the department and not eligible to return to Nintendo.
>PAY RATE IS $10.00/ PER HOUR
>Hours worked after 40+ receives a pay rate of time and a half.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

>STRONG INTEREST and FAMILIARITY with Gaming/Video Games
>Full knowledge of spelling and grammatical rules as it pertains to the English language
>Ability to sit for extended periods of time
>Attention to DETAIL
>Strong documentation skills
>PC skills
>Ability to work in a diverse TEAM environment
>Ability to commute to REDMOND, WA for the orientation, interview process, and job itself.
