Italian Diver Sets New World Record

Italian diver Vittorio Innocente established a new world record for underwater cycling. He pedalled his modified bicycle to a depth of 60 meters near Genoa, Italy.

Vittoria is age 59 and was eager to make the attempt. He was lowered into the ocean off Portofino. After he sank 30 meters to the sea floor he quickly rode his bike forward and was able to ride it for a total of 45 minutes.
