The sex-swap chicken called Georgina that turned into a cockerel named George

A chicken called Georgina has amazed her owner by undergoing a sex change and turning into a cockerel.

The gender-bending bird - now called George - has spent the past two years gradually transforming into a male.

Georgina used to produce eggs every morning, but George has now stopped laying and boasts a bright-red male 'cockscomb' on top of its head.

His voice has even 'broken' and the four-year-old crows at 6am and bosses his former hen friends around.
