Security/Sales Engineer (SE) - Job# 001The Security Engineer (SE) will work alongside Sales Team and oversee the sales support of Secure Islands’ products to existing and prospective customers with the assigned geographic region. The SE is an integral part of the sales organization and assists the sales team with pre-sales technical knowledge and presentations. They work closely with sales managers, prospects and partners as a subject-matter expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and via WebEx, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Secure Islands’ solutions can provide value to them.
Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record using it to help drive revenue.
Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences, when needed.
Work independently and as a vital member of a sales team.
Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches to develop business.
Ensure successful on-site product evaluations and post-sale installations when necessary.
Plan, manage and execute customer product pilots.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in IT security, and pre-sales engineering with large enterprises - must
Familiarity with the IT security market in EMEA – an advantage
Experience in development, or real world use of security related solutions; preferably experience working in a start-up environment – an advantage
Experience with Windows networks, especially with Active Directory and authentication mechanisms
Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls
Compliance standards knowledge (PCI, SOX, HIPAA, ISO277001) – an advantage
Able to effectively present technical material/train large groups including executive level audience.
Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
Excellent written, oral communication and strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
BS degree in Computer Science or related field – An advantage
Ability to travel intensively overseas
Fluent in English -- both written and verbal—required; Additional languages highly desired
Professional Services Engineer - Job# 002
This Professional Services Engineer will be responsible for on-site, post-sales consulting and product implementation, primarily focused on customers within the EMEA Region. Beside deployment, the Professional Services Engineer will engage in basic training services, in both classroom and on-site environments, for Secure Islands’ customers. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, capable of being highly productive while on the road, delivering quality service engagements and customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure that Secure Islands’ products are deployed and operating to meet customers’ expectations
Provide customers with progress reports and other project documentation
Troubleshoot technical issues with the help of the Support and RnD Teams
Skills and Experience:
This position requires strong technical skills and solid experience working with Security products, Windows Networks, authentication, and Networking Technologies.
Experience delivering training to post-sales customers and partners – An advantage
Ability to scope, design, document and implement integration requirements
Self-starter and independent, but also able to work within a team environment, helping out when needed on various deployments
Able to accept constructive criticism and implement relevant changes
An aptitude for mastering new software applications
Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly, succinctly and accurately

QA & Support Team Leader - Job# 003
As a QA & Support TL, you will be in charge of the QA & Support Team working alongside our exceptional team of professionals in RnD, Product, and Sales. In this role, the TL will lead the Quality Assurance activities within Secure Islands reporting to the VP RnD. In addition, the TL will be in charge on Customer Support activities such as dealing with customers’' tickets(frontline support), onsite support, product inquiries, packages deliveries and technical documentation.

Experience in QA & support of both Applications and Infrastructure software systems - must
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Must.
Ability to understand complex products involving many technologies.
Deep knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, IT security.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls.
Knowledge of Databases and Web Servers– preferably MS-SQL/IIS
Experience in virtualization technologies.
Good knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
Experience with QA Automation Tools - Advantage.
Experience with QA of Security Software - Advantage.
At least 3 years of QA & support experience and 1 year as TL experience.
