Ferrari Celebrates Its 1000th Asia-Pacific Sale, A 612 Scaglietti in Hong Kong

After 45 years of selling sports cars in the Asia-Pacific region, Ferrari is celebrating its 1000th vehicle delivery there in the city of Hong Kong.

With 1700 cars delivered in 2008, the U.S. retains the lion's share of Ferrari sales, which totaled 6587 vehicles last year. In the Asia-Pacific region, Japan is the automaker's top market as 433 cars were delivered in 2008. In China, sales increased 20% last year to 212 units.
