Ingredients
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cups cashews (or almonds or macadamias)
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup instant oats
-2/3 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop of your favorite Syntrax protein for icing
- water Directions
- Preheat oven to 170 °C/ 340 °F
- Grease donut baking tray
- Blend cashews in food processor first until they are chopped finely
- Add eggs, flour, protein powder, oats and almond milk to food processor
- Once blended, pour or spoon mixture into donut tray
- bake donuts for 10 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean
- While donuts are cooling make the protein icing
- In a small bowl put a scoop of protein powder
- Add a small amount of water and start to stir with a spoon
- Continue to add small amounts of water until desired consistency is achieved (icing should be thick but spreadable, too runny and it won't stay on the donuts)
- Once donuts have cooled ice with icing and decorate if desired, can also dust the donuts with cinnamon and/or stevia if icing is not desired
- Eat them all, don't share!!
