קטע באנגלית Past Simple & Prog - כיתה ח' :)

It was 3 o'clock at night. I suddenly heard a noise outside…
I get out of bed and opened the window.
The dogs barked and there was a lot of noise.
Suddenly a strange unknown figure came out from the grove.
I ran to my parent's room. While I was trying to wake up my father I heard someone knocking on the door…
I took my baseball bat and I was walking slowly to the door.
I was sweating… I opened the door and I saw…
My uncle! He was talking unclearly: "My dog… He is dead!"
We went to the kitchen. I gave him some water and asked: "What happened to your dog?"
He was drinking quietly… After he finished drinking he said:
"I was sleeping in the living room when suddenly I heard my dog crying. I ran outside and I saw him dead on the sand.
I walked to the street and I saw few kids running and laughing...
They killed him!"
He couldn't hold him self and he started crying.
In the morning we called the police and he described the kids.
Few weeks later the police caught them while they were trying to break to another house in the hood.
