NASA Asks Employees For Urine To Test Toilet

The company building NASA's new space toilet at the Johnson Space Center sent out a memo this week asking employees to donate urine.

The urine will be used to test the new toilet on the Orion Space Capsule.

The company said they need almost 8 gallons a day to thoroughly test the toilet.

NASA got a reminder at just how important the spacebound toilets are when the toilet on the International Space Station broke earlier this year.
